Battery Hire

Description

EBT offers hire of e-bike batteries for Bosch and eZee equipped ebikes. Ideal for travelers who were unable to bring their e-bike battery with them or locals wanting to tackle an adventure ride with an additional battery.

You can choose from an eZeebike 20Ah battery or Bosch battery. Bookings essential for Bosch batteries complete with bike model and battery model information. The Bosch battery will be the ‘naked’ battery only – no third party covers, spacers, handles etc available for hire. This means for some Bosch equipped e-bikes such as Riese and Muller, your battery (well, our battery) will be a little more exposed to the elements. However, for some brands it will be a potential show stopper – our battery simply won’t fit in your bike unless you transfer over the auxiliary bits each time you want to swap batteries. The Trek RIB system is one such example of this.

Price is based on the battery being picked up from and dropped back to our store in Auckland (open Mon-Sat, closed Sundays and public holidays). Hire starts from when it’s picked up until it is returned.

Please choose the option you need and in the order notes specify your pick up and drop off days and exactly which battery you require. Please also let us know the make and model of your bike.

Hire does not include a charger, please bring your own. If that is not possible, we can offer a charger for $20/month or part thereof (eg $20 even just for the weekend).
