Merida Carrier Adapter

Description
Although designed for different Merida bikes, this adapter can be used for the purposes of mounting a standard (aftermaket) rear rack to a merida ebig seven and ebig nine. The part needs to be modified by drilling the mounting hold out larger. You’ll also need a longer bolt than the short one in the Merida ebig seven/nine frames. See photos for the modification. We have modified some of these ahead of time, so you can simply ask us to send a modified one when you order.
A compatible rear rack that you can then fit to your bike is the Topeak Super Tourist Disc.
You will also require a seat post clamp with additional carrier mounts to finish off the job.
