Rear light for 36V electric bicycles and conversion kits. Pannier rack mount. As fitted to eZee bikes.

To mount the light mechnically you’ll need to use a small screwdriver to first remove the red plastic cover. Then you will be able to access the bolt head with an allen key or similar while holding the nut with an 8 or 10mm spanner from the other side of the rack. Finally, re-fit the red plastic cover.

Electrically, this light is ‘plug and play’ for almost all eZee bikes ever made. It comes with a long cable with a 2 pin ‘jst’ connector on the end. The cable follows along the rear rack and under a chain stay to plug into the controllor underneath the bottom bracket.

There are some eZee bikes where the connector will not be present at the controllor or will not be the same plug type. This is seen occasionally on very old eZee bikes or on brand new ones. However, overall it is rare. In these cases you might just cut and solder the wiring in near the rear rack where the light is mounted.
