Description
These are the remaining stock of our ‘silver edition’ Bromptons. The background to this is that Brompton traditionally sold their bikes with silver finishings as standard and ‘black edition’ as an option. The finishings in question include the handlebar, seatpost, crankset, pedals, mudguards and even spokes.
From 2024 onwards, ‘black edition’ became standard. The remaining pre-2024 stock is therefore now quite rare and somewhat ironically renamed ‘silver edition’!

The unique Brompton folding bike was designed and built in London in 1975 by Andrew Ritchie in his flat in South Kensington opposite the Brompton Oratory. Still made in London today, Brompton is making over 50,000 bikes per year and is the UK’s largest bike manufacturer.
