Le Velo Studio test ride days @EBT April 3 + 4Wānaka start up Le Velo Studio is touring the country offering test rides of their lightweight, minimalist e-bike. Closer to bike than ‘e’, it’s half the weight of a typical electric bicycle. Come in store anytime Thursday or Friday to meet the maker and try the bikes!
E-bike market update – what’s still on special?Supply of e-bikes continues to outstrip demand, due to the slowing economy. There’s still overstock out there and some recent shop closures. Despite this, the diversity of clearance bikes is steadily decreasing, particularly in the sub $5000 category. All e-bikes still on sale can be seen here >>
Karanga-a-Hape train station to open next yearNext stop – EBT!Competing with our shop fit-out for longevity, the new train station build across the road is coming along nicely. I was beside myself with excitement on a tour of the station construction (Thanks KBA!) some 40m below ground level. When it’s running, you’ll be able to take a train (with your bike) from Hamilton right to our door step and everywhere in between.
