Description

The Sight VLT A1 is an aluminium electric All-Mountain bike (eMTB) with Norco’s legendary descending capability, quick, confident climbing and the boost you want to ride faster and further.

A smarter way of positioning the Shimano EP8 motor

Norco has tilted the Shimano EP8 motor upwards instead of a horizontal position. The benefits are increased ground clearance, a battery that sits lower in the down tube and closer to the bottom bracket, which should result in a lower centre of gravity and have a positive effect on weight distribution and handling. Another benefit of mounting the motor and battery as done in these Norcos, is that the battery can be removed via a small hatch at the bottom of the down tube. This comparatively small opening makes the down tube stiffer and stronger compared to eMTBs with bigger battery openings.

Norco’s Ride Aligned design system is a rider-focused bike setup system that allows riders to tweak suspension settings, tyre pressures, sizing and geometry through a special app, for a near full-custom bike setup aimed at ensuring optimum bike/rider performance.
